    1. ICARP staff will provide programmatic updates on the Adaptation Clearinghouse and Adaptation Planning Guide, FEMA CTP grant, the ICARP Prop 84 Wildfire Grants, the CDI-ICARP Insurance sub-group, and resilience metrics

    DISCUSSION:
    1. Overview of the 2021 update to the State Adaptation Strategy. Council will provide feedback on draft State Adaptation Strategy priorities.

  7. Item 6 | Public Workshop: Listening Session on Extreme Heat and Urban Greening
    DISCUSSION:
    1. ICARP will hold a joint public workshop to solicit input on state priorities for addressing extreme heat and an urban greening listening session to inform EO N-82-20 implementation. The workshop will include presentations from the County of Los Angeles and City of Coachella, followed by listening session breakout discussions to gather public input.
    ACTION:

Meeting Information

The California Governor’s Office of Planning and Research (OPR) is following directives from the Governor’s Executive Orders N-29-20 and N-33-20 as well as the California Department of Public Health’s recommendations regarding public gatherings. As a result, unless otherwise noted, all ICARP Technical Advisory Council (the Council) meetings will be a remote meeting only held via a zoom video and teleconference. There will be no physical public access location. OPR remains steadfast in its goals to promote transparency and public participation. To do so, OPR has provided a publicly accessible zoom teleconference and video link. Please note there may be some technical issues during the remote-only Council meetings.

All times indicated and the order of business are approximated and subject to change. Public comment is taken on each agenda item as well as at the end of the meeting. If you wish to give comment, please notify the meeting moderator. Prior to making your comments, please state your name for the record and identify any group or organization you represent. Depending on the number of individuals wishing to address the Council, the Chair may establish specific time limits on presentations.
