DWR’s Guidance on General Plan Amendments for Addressing Flood Risks
Briefing on Department of Water Resource’s (DWR) recently released Guidance on General Plan Amendments for Addressing Flood Risks. The Guidance was developed to assist cities and counties within the Sacramento-San Joaquin Valley amend their general plans to address flood risk. Preliminary Discussion Draft Guidelines implementing SB 743
OPR extended the comment period on the Preliminary Discussion Draft of changes to the CEQA Guidelines implementing SB 743 to November 21. OPR will provide a brief update and summary of input to-date and discuss next steps in the process.
