CAL FIRE’s Urban and Community Forestry Program has released a grant solicitation for projects to be funded by the Greenhouse Gas Reduction Fund. CAL FIRE has scheduled a webinar for September 24, 2014 to discuss eligible applicants, eligible projects, and the application procedure. In addition, six public workshops will be held across the state. Concept Proposals will be due November 13, 2014. CAL FIRE is very excited to reach disadvantaged communities with these projects that will help meet GHG reduction goals and provide numerous co-benefits.
