Announcement: Global food summit addresses feeding world's billions

The Governor's Office of Planning and Research (OPR) and the Division of the State Architect (DSA) are pleased to solicit your input on the public review draft of “Plug-In Electric Vehicles: Universal Charging Access Guidelines and Best Practices.”   These draft guidelines have been developed by DSA to assist OPR with physical accessibility standards and design guidelines for the installation of plug-in electric vehicle charging stations throughout California. The voluntary guidelines address accessible plug-in electric vehicle charging stations on both public and private sites and within public rights of way.

The public review for the Guidelines will begin on Tuesday, April 9 and end on Friday, June 28, 2013 (the public review has been extended two times: it was initially extended from May 24 to June 7, and now has a June 28 closing date). Please email your comments and any questions to also email ZEVfeedback for inquiries about viewing the document in alternate formats.

There will be an accessible public hearing about the Guidelines on June 5, 2013. Please click here   to view an agenda for the hearing, which also includes meeting location information.
