  2. Presentation by SGC Staff on potential funding opportunity using reappropriated Propostion 84 funds to support resilience planning in wildfire-affected communities

Item 6 | Climate Action in Coachella Valley

  1. Presentation by Katie Barrows and Jacob Alvarez on resilience activities in the Coachella Valley, including a voluntary green building program and a multispecies habitat plan.

Item 9 | Informing Regions Rise Together: ICARP TAC and Public Working Session

Discussion
  1. Joint Regions Rise Together workshop hosted by the Office of Planning and Research, Strategic Growth Council, Department of Conservation, and Inland Empire Resource Conservation District.
  2. Regions Rise Together is a vision for inclusive economic development and sustainable land use and transportation planning across California regions. Through this workshop, the state will introduce the Administration’s Regions Rise Together Initiative and solicit input from the ICARP TAC and leaders in the Inland Empire and Coachella Valley on how to incorporate climate resilience into Regions Rise Together.
